Hi,
I am a seriously addicted cropper, but like many of you I don’t get enough time to scrap. I am a second grade teacher, a parent, grandparent and occasionally I even get to see my husband. Donald and I have been married for 30+ years and we have raised 2 children and now we have 3 grandchildren. Donald has his own business that keeps him “on the road” for more than 200 days a year.
I was a scrap booker long before scrapbooking became a hobby. I still have my childhood scrapbooks. When I was a child our favorite hobby was not so well organized as it is today. I couldn’t buy archival quality paper. That was only available to museums. I actually used stamp hinges to keep my postcards, photos, other ephemera and memorabilia on the pages. Most of it has long since released and now my books are filled with loose items. Perhaps some day I will go back and just attach everything again.
The journey to Rose Corner Inn has been a long and emotional one. It’s something I have dreamed about but never thought I would accomplish. Now that it’s open I walk through my home and marvel at its magnificence. The leaded glass, carved woodwork and columns, hidden nooks, and tall ceilings and windows make this home a true time capsule of workmanship from years past. The home has stood for 150 years and I’m so honored that Rose Corner Inn will be apart of the already rich history of the home.
I’m so excited to entertain and have guests stay in my home who love scrapbooking as much as I do. Added to that I get to put on fabulous dinners, set tables that sparkle, and meet new friends and create wonderful memories that I can scrap in my Rose Corner Scrapbook (or write about on my new Blog!).
I hope to meet you soon!
